Brændgaard Physiotherapy specializes in the nervous system and functional neurology. We treat all joints in the body, unresolved emotions, old traumas and current problems.
We listen to your story, as it has great significance for your treatment. You have lived your life and although your symptoms may be similar to others, your body needs individual treatment.
You get the cause of your problem treated and can therefore expect faster results than conventional physiotherapy. Most experience improvement after 1-3 treatments.
What is functional neurology?
Neurology is all the signals sent to and from your brain. Your brain controls your body based on the inputs it receives. It may be that your cup of morning coffee is heavier than you think and you therefore need more muscle strength to lift it. There is feedback to the brain and a new message to the muscles about the need for increased strength so you can lift the cup. This all happens unconsciously and in many situations over the course of a day.
In the treatment we stimulate your nervous system in relation to the problems that you have and depending on the muscle tests find the cause of the imbalances in your nervous system that give you pain or movement limitations.
Prices
A card can be purchased for DKK 1,500 for 3 hours of treatment. Cards are purchased for the 1st treatment. The hourly rate is 595 kroner.
Subsidies from private health insurance can be used and Sygeforsikringen denmark covers DKK 133 for the first time and DKK 88 for subsequent treatments. See more at Prices.
